Penn’s Civilian youth development was established in Steelton Highspire High School and has been involved in programming there since 2002.  In 2007 we teamed up with the County 4H and planted a garden that we've cultivated ever since.  Every year we've added to the Garden.

Year one, we added raised garden beds. Year two, a high tunnel.  Year three, an 8 foot fence for the perimeter and more raised beds.  In the fourth year we added equipment (compost bin, rain barrel, lawn mower, wheel barrows, etc.) and in the fifth, a shed to put it in. Last year, we added a pond and this year iowa cash advance and payday loans, our goal is to raise enough money to add a gazebo.

The gazebo will serve as an outdoor classroom and a refuge from extreme weather conditions.  Please help us reach our goal.  Every dollar amount donated helps and is sincerely appreciated.

For a $750 donation you will be recognized as a Penn's Civilian Project Pillar.  A plaque with the name of your choosing and a word of thanks will then be prominently displayed on a gazebo post.  All donations are 501c3 tax deductible.  Please don’t hesitate to call or email if you have any questions.
